This is the definitive archival release of one of Boston's first 70s punk bands, THE TRANSPLANTS. The group formed in 1976 and split up in late 1979. They played local shows in Boston and also did some radio interviews around Massachusetts. This CD release is from the only surviving tapes, which were restored professionally. Bacchus Archives presents to you 75 minutes worth of THE TRANSPLANTS home made live and studio tapes. The band had an original take on the 1970's Punk sound and also did a slew of '60s garage covers!
