At last this great unreleased song "Dime Store Wedding Ring" is available on beautiful red vinyl. Featured in the third episode of The Fox hit series "The Last Man On Earth" it created an immediate demand, from those who wanted a copy to play the song at their own (or a friend's wedding). Now Ben Dover Inc. has pressed up a limited quantity for you and your friends to enjoy. Crooner Dave Sterling was an Australian living in the US and his L.A. recordings were purchased by the Rev Record label here in Phoenix. He had one Rev release in 1957 that went nowhere. "Dime Store Wedding Ring" sat on a shelf for almost 60 years until it was licensed for the new (at that time) sitcom "The Last Man On Earth" and heard by the public for the first time in March of this year. The flip side, "Ring Chimes" by The Dots (The Tads) is a great doo-wop, also about a wedding!! If you ever find an original copy of this rare Arizona record it will cost you an arm and a leg!
