Unplayed stock copies! Pre-teen Mexican sisters perform a wonderful version of the Standells classic, mostly in English with a couple of Spanish lines towards the end. Cute as all get-out little doll harmonies and sparkling acoustic guitars. Gordo Records’ Eddie Davis told us that the girls came to LA from Mexico to record this record (backed with a more traditional song, “Cu Cu Rru Cu Cu Paloma”) and went directly back to Mexico , never to be heard from again. This was pressed in a quantity of 500 in 1969; we have the last remaining stock copies!
