Milan - Hell Bent for Leather LP

Product Information

A fabulous set of garage & bubblegum singles by the eternally mysterious Milan;  producer-songwriter from New York. After a short stint as a preppy popster, he refashioned himself as the memorable biker, and later also as a bubblegum producer/songwriter. Milan happily ingested everything from Phil Spector to Tommy James to Seeds-style punk, & popped up on Lou Christie & Head Shop singles too. After being included on Pebbles compilations & hunted by Greg Shaw for years, it's now pretty much accepted that Milan's real name was Rick Rodelle & that he died of a brain tumor in the late 70s. Where he came from or who helped him record his singles remains unknown.
